Awo-Omamma Diaspora Community Launches AUNAFunds.org to Support Welfare Initiatives in Nigeria

For more than fifteen years, Awo-Omamma sons and daughters in the United States of America have stayed organized under a name AUNA (Awo-Omamma United, North America). Under this umbrella, there are local chapters of the Organization in various US zones, all geared toward accomplishing the overall goal of AUNA – seeking better welfare for all Awo-Omamma citizens back home in Nigeria.

As economic and health challenges have intensified in Awo-Omamma, with a noticeable decline in the standard of living, AUNA members recognized an urgent need to step up their support. This growing concern among members has led to the establishment of AUNAFunds.org, an initiative designed to provide a sustainable way to generate resources for community support. AUNAFunds.org will serve as a dedicated platform to fund initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions, healthcare access, and overall welfare of Awo-Omamma citizens.

Through AUNAFunds.org, AUNA aims to focus on key areas such as healthcare services, educational support, and infrastructure projects that can make a tangible difference in the lives of Awo-Omamma residents. By mobilizing resources from members and supporters in North America, AUNA intends to implement targeted interventions that will enhance the quality of life, increase longevity, and provide critical support to those in need within the Awo-Omamma community.

AUNA invites the wider Awo-Omamma diaspora, philanthropic entities, and well-wishers to contribute to this mission, recognizing that a collective effort is essential to address the ongoing challenges. With the launch of AUNAFunds.org, AUNA reaffirms its commitment to bridging the gap between the Awo-Omamma diaspora and those back home, ensuring that they can achieve lasting and meaningful improvements for future generations.
